Who knew there were two restaurants with the same name?

Friday morning we successfully navigated the subway system to get to the 9/11 Memorial.  Perhaps I walk around with a puzzled look on my face because people often tell me where to go and how to get there.

The visit to the Memorial evoked an emotional response, mostly sadness for those touched directly by the tragedy, but also respect for the way the Memorial honors those lost.

We strolled the length of Battery Park until we could gaze at the Statue of Liberty and boat traffic while we snacked on hot pretzels and oysters.

After much studying of maps and restaurant reviews,we set out for an early dinner, followed by a piece of pie and our Broadway show.  Well that was the plan anyway.  But when we got to the restaurant, it was not the one we had researched.  It was the Pergola and we were looking for Pergola des Artistes.  I solved that...hailed a cab and said please take us to the corrected address.  The rest of the evening went much more according to plan.I don't have the superlatives to say how wonderful the play, Aladdin, was.  It was well beyond my expectations!  What costumes!  What music!  What a theater!
